Initial notes of strawberry and a slight bitter taste of Oolong tea. The finish is quick and has a hint of earthy buckwheat. It is also rather well balanced and “easy” to gulp down.
One might say this is a basic sake. I quite like it. Maybe for nostalgic reasons. But I find that it has this earthy note which I like.
